The City of Hamilton recently informed Multi County they will be increasing the water rates as of October 1, 2026. As a result of this increase, and to be able to keep making improvements on our aging water system, the Board of Directors voted at the September 17, 2026 meeting to increase the rates of our customers by $.80 per 1,000 gallons. The rate will increase from $11.65 per 1,000 gallons to $12.45 per 1,000 gallons. An increase for the monthly minimum was also voted on and will increase by $3.30, making the current rate of $62.60 increase to $65.90 a month. This rate increase will go into effect on November 1, 2026. Please also note, MCWSC now has an app that can help customers manage their water usage.
